Conversation Transcript Browser
September 2018 - May 2019A transcript browsing application for conversation analysis research, created for the Human Interaction Lab at Tufts University under Professor J.P. de Ruiter. Allows researchers to browse and play transcripts, visually tying the current audio to the transcription of the current sentence.
Gender in Shakespeare
November - December 2018An interactive visualization of gender in Shakespeare’s plays. Includes general trends by genre for gendered differences in word count totals and averages, as well as a show-by-show breakdown of character wordcounts by gender.
Drought Visualization
November 2018An interactive vizualization of historical United States Drought Monitor data by county, with specific Drought Severity and Coverage Index values visible on hover for each county.
Linked Hierarchy Visualization
October 2018An interactive comparison of two different but complementary hierarchical visualizations: treemaps and icicles. Uses the same data in each visualization and links corresponding elements of the visualizations in order to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each model.
Blocking Tracker
September - December 2017An Android application for stage managers to create, save, and update stage blocking information for their actors. This information is anchored in show-specific scripts and ground plans, allowing directors, stage managers, and actors to review stage blocking by scene or line.
Float Four
February - May 2017A web application for a new variation of Connect Four. Float Four is adds a new dimension of strategy to the classic game Connect Four. Players can, at their will, reverse the direction of gravity, causing the pieces to float to the top of the board and therefore altering the relationships between them.
Avian Website
January - February 2017An informational website for Avian, a new community-engagement and social organization at Tufts University, created as Publicity Chair and Co-Founder.
